Responsibilities Plan and deliver creative and engaging French lessons to students at different skill levels Use a variety of teaching resources and methods to enhance students' language acquisition and cultural understanding Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback and support as necessary Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation and respect among students Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum materials Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and assessment data Requirements Proven experience teaching French to primary and/or secondary school students Fluency in French, both spoken and written, as well as a strong command of English A relevant degree or teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's in Education or a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for French A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and research in language education Application To be considered for this French Teacher position please forward a CV as soon as possible.
