We are currently recruiting for one of our well-established and fast-growing clients in the Oldbury area. The ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, and professional and have a Customer Service background (experience in insurance or claims isn't essential).
About you:
1. You have a 'can do' attitude, flexible approach, passion for doing a good job, you're performance-driven, and a team player.
2. Good organisational and prioritization skills.
3. Be confident using computers and software systems such as Microsoft.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The details:
As a Claims Handler, you'll take ownership of their case and support them following an insurance claim through investigating, negotiating, and settling their claims while providing a high standard of customer service.
You’ll need to:
1. Stay calm and patient when dealing with challenging and emotional situations.
2. Be proactive and able to guide the customer through their claim.
3. Be eager to develop your knowledge in order to make the best decision for the customer.
4. Be a team player and collaborate with other teams, departments, and suppliers.
