We're looking for a Senior Internal Communications Executive who expects more from their career. What you’ll be working on
1. Develop, produce and maintain communications materials which capture key strategic messages and ensure effective and consistent cascades of these messages.
2. Provide communications business partner guidance and support to a few executive team members to help them meet their own team goals and guide them to the best outcomes against dunnhumby strategic goals.
3. Work with and advise senior leaders for key events and communications for maximum impact. Guide senior leaders and managers on the best way to communicate to achieve their goals.
4. Write, edit and deliver innovative and consistent information and content delivering the right messages to internal teams using best practice techniques. This will include articles, presentations and other relevant marketing materials such as videos and infographics, allowing you to flex your creativity and inspire others.
5. Lead or support the planning and execution of communications for major business change programmes and projects as required.
6. Keep employees informed of important news and information within and outside of dunnhumby in a timely manner.
7. Assess, plan and deliver communications initiatives for major programmes of work within dunnhumby. Key in 2025 are improvements to our channel and measurement capabilities and a brand refresh.
8. Work together with the communications team to plan and produce high-profile engagement communications and events, e.g. All Company calls, leadership calls, and internal events.
9. Drive and champion global communications and brand consistency for dunnhumby.
10. Maintain all required skills & complete necessary training and act in line with our values and Code of Business.
What we are looking for
1. Strong writing skills and proven communications experience of delivering communications across multiple domains and varying levels of maturity.
2. Good knowledge of communications principles, methodologies, and tools, with the ability to adapt the implementation to the situation.
3. Experience working with senior stakeholders to support strategic communications and with a view to outcomes.
4. Good knowledge and experience of project management.
5. Ability to support business leaders to identify their communications needs and help deliver end-to-end communications programmes to enable this change.
6. Work with multiple stakeholder groups and regions across dunnhumby to understand impacts to employees and end-users of a change and communications programme. Help them plan and deliver their change and communications accordingly.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building effective relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage resistance and adopt various strategies to do so.
9. A strong ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to ‘get hands dirty’ i.e. help the team out with tasks outside of role if needed.
10. Support embedding a “change-ready” culture through the development, maintenance, and consistent application of best practice change and communications methodologies.
