Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Design, develop, and implement complex marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with solutions that can be evidenced to improve operational effectiveness. Understand the business environment and where Marketing Cloud falls into this, and generate ideas and solutions within this context - ensure both strategy and technology integration to existing business processes, and lead on solution development that enhances overall operational effectiveness Support the business with creating and managing user data (inc segmentation strategy), email templates and campaigns, customer journeys – and maintain documentation to be referred to by the business – set strategy and approach yourself Practical experience in Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Mobile Connect, Automation Studio & Audience Builder SQL, Ampscript, HTML and CSS coding experience Establish repeatable methodology for on-boarding new use cases to Marketing Cloud and work with the wider organisation to check effectiveness and iterate on the approach. Own and implement the solution and be prepared to iterate again based on changing priorities Identify and remedy issues – taking the lead on finding a solution and working with relevant BS&I colleagues on fixes Knowledge, understanding and experience of other Salesforce products that integrate with Marketing Cloud: be able to understand the impacts between systems and recommend methods and solutions to other platform teams. Identify dependencies between systems and recommend best practice for integration efficiencies Able to work with other platform and product teams on integration dependencies and solutions Highly organised and a good communicator within an environment that can have unclear or changing priorities Be the expert and advise the team on how to manage and maintain data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
