The role involves working with our wide range of water treatment equipment to guarantee the best quality for our customers. The role offers a great opportunity to work with a global leader in water treatment & has provides opportunities to progress within the company. It is possible to become a specialist in a technical area, take on a supervisory role or even join our management team. We will support you to develop your current skills and gain all the new skills to be successful within the water treatment industry. The desire to take on new tasks is important to us. We would particularly value applicants with (or willing to gain) counterbalance forklift or C+E articulated truck licences. We would also value those applicants with (or willing to gain) a qualification in First Aid. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring the quality (QC/FAT) of different type of water treatment equipment (IX, Filter, RO, EDI or ED). This can include other mechanical jobs. Make maximum effort to keep and improve defined equipment turning cycle time and rework are processed in a timely and effective manner. Ensure that any documents are read, understood and followed precisely. Additionally, it is necessary to fill in production and quality control paperwork on a daily basis and all computer related tasks are completed. Teaching/coaching other operators about the equipment and procedure. Ensure all duties are performed in a safe manner within the site rules & current health and safety legislation. Qualifications Keen eye for detail Good people skills Ability to work in a fast-paced & changing environment Able to process assigned tasks in a time effective manner Good numeracy & IT skills Able to perform in a safe and efficient manner Ability to follow detailed instruction.
