We are looking for a Team Manager to join a Children in Need team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.
About the team
The team works in partnership with children and their families to understand the support they need to live safely and happily. Your role in the team will be to lead, manage, and motivate a staff team, ensuring high-quality supervision is completed regularly. This includes case management oversight, timely decision-making, the effective implementation and review of children's plans, and providing the opportunity to reflect and recognize areas of practice that are good or require improvement. You will support the ongoing learning and development of workers. The team needs to be competent in all areas of the PCF at Advanced Social Worker level and the Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for practice supervisors.
About you
A degree in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role. You need to have a good understanding of what good social work practice looks like and be passionate about systemic and relational-based practice models. You should be positive, motivated, and feel that your current caseload allows you to complete good social work interventions with families.
