In this role, you will report to the Design Manger and be an advocate for the adoption of advanced polycarbonate systems as a modern and innovative construction solution by detailing and appropriate specification of design proposals. About The Role Main tasks and duties UK/European travel to complete design review and survey of stadia and large scale existing/proposed projects Interpreting scheme design/planning drawings and developing buildable proposals incorporating polycarbonate products Co-ordination with architects and contractors on the design and drafting of junction details Developing specifications, design proposals and required detailing relevant for successful product use Provision of timely and accurate technical documentation to the internal Brett Martin team Evaluation of competitor information, materials, systems and product uses Maintaining documentation efficiently and to a high standard of accuracy Provide project specific design advice and on-site installation training Maintaining familiarity with all aspects of the Brett Martin ranges of products, including relevant legislation, product applications, and good practices in use. Assist with other functions of the Technical Service Department as necessary. Required Criteria Graduate in Architectural Technology or a related discipline Ability to read and understand detailed construction drawings Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to initiate tasks and manage multiple tasks and priorities Adaptable: able to cope with rapidly changing demands.
