Academics LTD is partnering with an outstanding SEN school in Slough that provides specialized care for children aged 5 to 18 with a wide range of mental, emotional, and social needs. We are seeking an energetic and supportive Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
Role Requirements:
Strong understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
Experience or willingness to work with children with diverse needs: Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, and communication difficulties
A passion for helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
Interest in working with children or within the SEN field
You are resilient, positive, and motivated to support children's developmentWhether you have a background in Psychology, Criminology, or are simply eager to gain hands-on experience in Education or Mental Health, this role provides a fantastic stepping stone. You'll work closely with experienced SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining invaluable insights and experience.

Pay: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, qualifications, and client rates)
Contract: Long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
