What you'll be doing:
* Ensuring effective, safe and stable change management techniques are incorporated to all business processes/toolsets.
* Safeguarding the Design intent, product delivery, schedule and cost are maintained.
* Change & Config management as well as Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
* Impact assessing Engineering Change - Creating PCN's to instruct downstream changes to production.
* Enabling & creating work packages to support production in build.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Ability to understand technical drawings and data.
* Broad manufacturing and installation knowledge/experience, preferably in heavy Engineering projects.
* Proficient in Microsoft packages.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Trade background, electrical/man eng, pipework, engineering trades.
* The role requires excellent communication skills due to working alongside.
Desirable:
* Experience in change management/config control.
* Experience in planning.
* Working knowledge of TeamCenter & SAP.

The Manufacturing Team:
The successful candidate will be dealing with multi-level stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure effective, safe and stable change management techniques are incorporated to all business processes/toolsets. This is vital in ensuring the Design intent, product delivery, schedule and cost are maintained. This is a key role in ensuring the design intent is met within the production floorplate. As a Manufacturing Engineer within the Change Processing Team, you will be responsible for controlling delivery of embodiment of change to manufacturing and installation work orders. The role builds a good understanding of the product and Business manufacturing and installation processes and will be heavily involved with the product design and features as well as assessing and controlling the downstream consumption of data. There are opportunities to develop within the role within this growing team and improve the level of control into today's and future products. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
