Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Officer for our oil service company client who have a heavy focus on renewable energy. This is a full time, fixed term contract position, which will be based from our client's office in Bridge of Don and should last for a period of 10 months. The Opportunity Duties The Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing payroll on a monthly basis. You will be working closely with the payroll provider, the business and HR to ensure an accurate payroll. Duties will include: Management of payroll timetable and internal deadlines Management and resolution of employee payroll queries Management of payroll files and records Payroll administration of salary sacrifice schemes Maintenance of float and salary advance information Management of the P11D/PSA process Administration of pension scheme memberships Journal creating and maintenance Reconciliation of wage accounts Administration of employee recharges Maintenance and distribution of balance statements for Guaranteed Earnings to employees and relevant management Background And Experience The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, have keen eye for detail, be able to use initiative and have excellent communication skills. Experience managing a payroll for c.500 employees with various allowance structures in place would be beneficial.
