With a portfolio of over 130 unique holiday homes, including seaside retreats, countryside cottages, and properties located in Kent's charming towns and villages, we offer our guests a wide range of options. Committed to excellence, we work closely with property owners to help them maximise the potential of their holiday rentals while delivering memorable stays for our guests. With plans to expand further across Kent into new areas, we are seeking a dynamic individual with strong sales expertise to accelerate this growth and help build lasting relationships with property owners.
Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Property Recruiter at Keepers Cottages. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing new partnerships with property owners, fostering long-term relationships, and driving growth into new areas across Kent.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Strategic Growth and Brand Building
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the Keepers Cottages property portfolio with high-quality holiday homes.
• Build and nurture relationships with property owners, estate agents, local businesses, and community stakeholders to generate referrals and increase brand visibility.
• Represent Keepers Cottages at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote services and grow awareness.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns, enhancing lead generation and brand positioning.
Client Acquisition and Portfolio Development
• Act as the first point of contact for prospective property owners, offering expert advice on holiday letting and promoting the benefits of partnering with Keepers Cottages.
• Conduct property recruitment visits, providing tailored recommendations on maximising revenue, enhancing property appeal, and meeting industry standards.
• Confidently negotiate terms and contracts with new property owners, addressing barriers to signing and ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
Pipeline and Lead Management
• Self-generate leads through networking, local partnerships, market research and cold calls while managing and converting warm leads from various sources.
• Maintain a well-organised sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups with potential clients.
• Report regularly on KPIs, analysing results to inform strategy and improve performance.
Operational Excellence and Service Delivery
• Deliver exceptional service to prospective and new property owners, ensuring a seamless and professional onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide a best-in-class service and a smooth transition for all owners throughout the onboarding journey.
• Continuously improve operational processes to enhance owner satisfaction and drive long-term partnerships.
Essential Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Experience:
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or property recruitment.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships effectively.
Knowledge:
• Understanding of the holiday letting or property management sector is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Kent’s local market, including tourism hotspots and community networks.
Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire trust.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a results-oriented approach.
• Highly organised and detail-focused, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Confidence with IT systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and online collaboration tools.
Desirable Attributes
• Experience in a hybrid working environment, balancing remote work and field engagements.
• Background in the hospitality, tourism, or property sectors.
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and tools for lead generation and owner acquisition.
Additional Information
• Hybrid role: remote working combined with regular travel within Kent and in-office collaboration in Deal.
• Reliable transportation is required for regional travel.
