The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Director of Adult Skills to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role is pivotal in providing strategic leadership and direction for our Adult Skills curriculum, ensuring it is responsive, high-quality, and relevant to the needs of our students and the wider community. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Adult Skills curriculum, ensuring it is dynamic, coherent, and balanced. Foster a culture of high standards and aspirations, underpinned by innovation and continuous improvement. Set and achieve challenging targets for student outcomes, including attendance, retention, achievement, and progression. Drive excellence in the design and delivery of online, workplace, and classroom learning programmes. Ensure effective Quality Assurance and Improvement policies and procedures. Embed meaningful analysis of student performance data to inform development planning. Provide strategic leadership for English and mathematics across the College. Ensure students receive appropriate enrichment opportunities, including employability skills. Promote a welcoming, supportive, safe, and inclusive environment that values equality and diversity. Capture and act upon student feedback to continually improve the student experience. Represent the College at external events and with stakeholders. About You Significant experience in a substantial management position within an FE environment. Qualified to level 5 or equivalent, with a recognised level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it. Demonstrable successful experience in leading and managing teaching and support staff teams. Strong knowledge of current education drivers and initiatives, quality assurance processes, and Adult Skills Funding Rules and Guidance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead collaboratively. Commitment to high standards, continuous improvement, and the success of students and the wider community.
