Our well-established client are looking to onboardTWO reliable and ambitiousCustoms Administratorsto join their flourishing team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation and be part of a rapidly growing business where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Previous experience within a similar role is preferable but this a great chance to kickstart your logistics career as full training will be supplied.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and submitting customs declarations using simplified, summary, and standard procedures
2. Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, including verifying the accuracy of data such as CPC codes, commodity codes, import/export licensing, and EORI numbers
3. Providing advice to traders on customs clearance and related procedures
4. Applying HMRC valuation methods to calculate and declare customs charges, and managing payment schedules
5. Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
6. Coordinating with shippers, customs agents, and freight forwarders to ensure the efficient movement of goods
