Salary: £34,500.00 - £42,500.00 based upon skills and experience

As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services internationally, we are seeking expressions of interest from talented and ambitious qualified teachers who specialise in Law and/or Politics subjects (GCSE and A-Level) and are keen to be considered for any future vacancies that arise to join our online school! We would also be keen to hear from individuals with experience teaching Humanities subjects such as KS5 Politics, KS3 & 4 History and KS3 Religious Studies.
Our teachers work remotely from home in the UK to deliver live lessons via our online classrooms where students are encouraged to participate and join in with activities. We encourage individuals interested in both full and part-time roles to express an interest. Please note, we do not currently have any open vacancies for Law & Politics, however we are seeking individuals to express an interest for any upcoming positions with King's InterHigh. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students within the school.
* Be up to date on current research and emerging pedagogy and disseminate this to staff through active engagement in professional development with the learning community.
* Support the self-evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and the development of priorities for improvement.
* Assist in maintaining and developing a high-quality school environment and profile and act as a role model through professional conduct and disposition.
* Provide guidance and advice to students on educational matters.
* Provide and contribute to assessments, reports and references relating to student progress and attainment in a timely manner.
* Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities.
* Undertake any other work as specified by their line manager.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Excellent subject knowledge.
* Knowledge of the correct Safeguarding procedures.
* Ability to work well in teams with excellent written and communication skills.
* Able to work effectively in dynamic and changing environments.
* Experience of working in the secondary or college sector.
* Experience of working in state or independent school sector.
* Experience with creating resources and the ability to review and enhance current course delivery.
* Computer Literate with the ability to use a variety of applications.
* Experience teaching IB (desirable).
