Job Description Job Title: Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager Location: UK Job Type: Permanent About Our Client: VHR Is hiring for our client, an Aviation Engineering support Company based in the UK for a Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager to join their team based in Stansted. You will be responsible to establish a Compliance Monitoring Programme for all areas of contracted maintenance support and to support the Client’s application for a CAMO approval. Within the role you will: ensure that the Compliance Monitoring System is effective in its application and any follow up actions required addressing findings; monitor compliance with Part-CAMO and Part-M; ensure establishment, revision and distribution control of the CAME; liaise and communicate with the relevant competent authorities. Monitor all items carried out by the nominated Continuing Airworthiness staff as follows, by ensuring: the continuing airworthiness of all aircraft and the serviceability of all operational and emergency equipment; the establishment and development of the continuing airworthiness policy and the approved maintenance programme as required by Part-M M.A.302, ensuring that aircraft Line and Base maintenance is completed in a timely manner and by approved AMOs; analyse the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programme as required by Part-M M.A.301(e) & Appendix 1 to AMC M.A.302; ensuring the adequacy and efficiency of maintenance planning and technical follow up; ensuring mandatory modification and repairs are completed in line with approved standards and establishment of a policy for embodiment of non-mandatory modifications; embodiment of ADs or any other airworthiness requirements made mandatory by the NAA, CAA or EASA; reporting of technical incidences and major discrepancies to the authorities and the aircraft manufacturers; review and implementation, as appropriate, of any additional CAA/NAA requirements; that the Certificate of Airworthiness for each aeroplane operated by the company remains valid; initiate, or perform the airworthiness review, by acting as Airworthiness or Review Staff (ARS) to issue an ARC or send the recommendation to the responsible register NAA; maintenance of accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions guidance and training is provide to CAMO staff regarding regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and best practices; opportunities for process improvement and enhancement of compliance programmes are identified and implemented whilst maintain or enhancing compliance standards; SB assessments and liaison with customer for recommendation are carried out; all defects are rectified; the relationship with the approved Part 145 maintenance contractor(s) is maintained; tender management; requesting quotes, presenting offers to the client, control/review of invoices; The generation of periodic reports for senior management detailing compliance performance, identified issues, and recommendations for improvement. Furthermore you will also be responsible for Safety Policy Development, providing training and guidance to staff on safety-related matters, promoting a safety-conscious culture within the organisation, liaising with aviation authorities and participating in regulatory audits and inspections and monitoring safety performance. Requirement: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Ideally EASA Part 66 Licensed or Technical Studies you will have prior experience (5 years ) working in a CAMO environment dealing with commercial and private aircraft clients. Essential to this role is your detailed knowledge of EASA Part-M/145 regulations including Human Factors as well as auditing techniques to include planning, conducting and reporting.
