We are seeking a skilled HSE Engineer to support a carbon capture and storage project critical to the UK Government’s net-zero emissions goal. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure and contribute to environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement HSE policies and procedures on offshore projects.
2. Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
3. Deliver HSE training and ensure compliance with standards.
4. Investigate and report HSE incidents, ensuring corrective actions.
5. Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in emergency response planning.
6. Monitor contractor HSE performance and conduct regular audits.
7. Maintain HSE documentation and promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
1. Experience in subcontractor management, IMCA, IOGP, micro-tunnelling, and offshore rigid pipelay is advantageous.
2. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
3. Ability to conduct audits, training, and manage HSE documentation.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
