If you enjoy getting under the skin of supplier relationships, influencing senior stakeholders, and shaping how a business partners - this could be your moment.
We’re working exclusively with a household-name organisation that’s building something new. Sitting within a wider procurement function, this role focusses on post-award activity, taking supplier partnerships beyond the contract and turning them into real strategic value.
You’ll take ownership of the larger, high-profile relationships within the professional services category, with individual supplier spends running into the tens of millions of pounds. It’s an opportunity to make a real difference to how the business works with suppliers that are central to major transformation projects.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading strategic supplier management across a high-value professional services portfolio
* Driving quarterly business reviews, contract renewals, and supplier performance assessments
* Working closely with stakeholders from legal, procurement, and across the business - up to board level
* Embedding ESG, risk frameworks, and compliance into commercial strategies
* Using your influence to shape outcomes, challenge thinking, and unlock long-term value from supplier partnerships
You’ll be a great fit if you:
* Bring a strong track record across end-to-end procurement or supplier relationship management
* Have worked with consultancy, professional services, or similar categories
* Are commercially savvy, analytically minded, and confident working in a regulated, corporate environment
* Understand contracts inside out from negotiation through to renewal and can navigate them with legal teams and suppliers
* Know how to build credibility quickly, influence at senior levels, and lead with a growth mindset
CIPS qualification is desirable. We’re looking for a professional with confidence, curiosity, and commercial edge to manage contracts. If you’ve worked in a large business where you’ve balanced risk, governance, and strategic thinking, you’ll feel right at home here.
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience + brilliant benefits package including annual bonus and substantial pension contributions.
The team works in a hybrid model, and it’s important you’re in the office twice a week. Beyond that, there’s flexibility to work from home the rest of the time.
