The Application Portfolio Manager will lead a team of Developers working on business-critical applications to maintain and improve the quality and integrity of the data, as well as improve the reporting and effectiveness of the application estate as a whole.
This role will develop and lead an effective and motivated development team and will be responsible for overseeing a range of technical processes and application development and integrations programmes of continuous improvement in response to changing security threats, risks and business needs.
The Application Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day priority setting and management of the team. They will co-ordinate workstreams and associated application continuous improvement workstreams, identifying priorities and leading Product Owners and stakeholders through a proactive approach to driving automations, integrations and improvements, whilst ensuring robust technical and security oversight.
They will lead members of the team and wider application stakeholders through gathering information, identifying and promoting improvement initiatives, tracking, testing and delivering solutions.
Reporting directly to the Head of Development, they will work closely with all members of the Technical Directorate.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Extensive understanding of the Azure platform
2. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation qualified or relevant experience
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
4. Experience of working closely with Infosec, completing DPIAs and security assessments and knowledge of ISO27001 framework
