Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
We are currently recruiting an Advanced Nurse Specialist (Band 7) to provide leadership and overall management to our expanding Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service. The post holder will be able to demonstrate a passion for Leg Ulcer Management and excellent leadership skills to support the team, overseeing the Teams caseload ensuring that the service delivers high quality, safe and effective nursing care within allocated resources.
The post holder will be responsible for:
1. Undertaking holistic nursing assessments to facilitate a nursing diagnosis, plan of care, and ongoing evaluation.
2. Providing specialist advice and information to patients, relatives, Nurses and Health Care Assistants within the clinic setting.
3. Undertaking research activities and leading clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service team.
4. Participating in the senior clinician on-call rota and will be remunerated in line with the Trust's Single On-call Remuneration Agreement.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later.
