We need attentive, outgoing individuals with a can-do attitude to make guests
feel at home, from first impression on the phone to final goodbye at the end of
their stay.

What your days could look like:
Front Desk
* To
complete all daily responsibilities and tasks in a timely manner.
* To
be customer focused at all times.
* Gain
an understanding of the local area and the wider hotel operations.
* To
provide excellent customer service, ensuring all visitors to The Lake are
greeted and have a positive first impressions.
* Checking
Guest into the hotel ensuring a brand standard tour is given.
* Assist
guests with their luggage if needed.
* Checking guest out of the hotel
ensuring brand standards are followed.
* Supporting
F&B with guest restaurant bookings and adaptions.
Swim Club
* Manage
access to the Swim Club.
* To
act as the main point of contact for all visitors to Swim Club and to
ensure its facilities are fully explained to all users, including a tour
on the guests first visit.
* Familiarise
guests with the area and to help where needed, whilst ensuring that the
Swim Club guidelines are adhered to.
* Have
a strong knowledge and understanding of the treatment & activities
list and their parameters.
* Show
clients through to the treatments snug and issuing them with the tablet
for consultation forms.
* Liaise
with the therapists on duty to update them on any changes to their
appointments throughout the day.
* Complete
any Membership renewals as directed by the Senior House Manager.
Sheepshed
* Present
a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an
excellent standard of customer service.
* To
ensure the sheep shed is kept clean and tidy and that wetsuits /boots/kit
are washed as required.
* Assist
in the preparation & organisation of activities for our guests both on
and off the water.
* Responsibility
for kit inspections of all Another Place sports equipment and maintain the
satisfactory appearance to ensure it meets the guest expectations.
* Work
as part of a team to set up, pack up and proactively help all guests using
the equipment on the lake.
Overall
* To
represent our brand at all times.
* Respond
to all enquiries in a timely manner and in a style that meets our brand
guidelines.
* Be
responsible for treatments, activities, kids' zone, restaurant and
secondary sales/bookings either in person, by telephone or by email and to
ensure bookings are maximised within the parameters of the system and the
availability of the therapists/instructors.
* Account
for the payments.
* To
be responsible for keeping the host desks and any other relevant areas up
to standard.
* Carry
out appropriate end of day banking.
* Sign
in/out keys and open/close host areas as per training.
Job skills & requirements:
* Meticulous
attention to detail. Whether it’s pre-arrival, or in house, you’ll notice
when a guest needs help with something – sometimes before they do.
* Previous
experience of using property management systems.
* Basic
knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Previous
front of house experience.
* Previous
F&B experience.
* First
Aid qualification.
* Current
Enhanced DBS.
* Good
communicator.
* Experience
of hotel computer systems.
* Adept
at prioritising and time management.
* Administrative
skills.
* Basic
IT skills.
