Eventus Legal are seeking an Accounts and Administration Assistant to join a successful team based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be working with a highly regarded team, with excellent benefits including free parking and Medicash. The role is a permanent position, 5 days per week 8.45am to to 5.15pm.
Role Responsibilities
The successful Accounts and Administration Assistant will have a range of responsibilities within this job, which include:
1. Closing and archiving of paper files. This involves physical filing and retrieval of files in and out of storage
2. Data entry to update the practice’s database by processing the movement of files, wills and deeds that are archived or coming in or out of storage
3. Going to the bank to carry out the daily banking and perform any deliveries or collections including taking parcels to the post office
4. Photocopying as requested to assist with bundles etc.
5. Taking payments from clients both in the office and over the telephone. Processing those payments on PE into either the client or office account accordingly.
6. Providing daily lunchtime cover for the receptionist and at other times as required.
7. Making drinks for clients, visitors and colleagues and keeping the kitchen tidy
8. Opening the daily post and distributing it into the correct pigeonholes, and making enquiries about any unidentified post
