Job summary We are recruiting a dynamic, enthusiastic and hard-working receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will provide an exceptional standard of customer care and efficient administration service to our patients supporting the wider practice team. Main duties of the job To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception, telephone and administrative duties under the direction of the Lead Receptionist. Providing comprehensive support to the multidisciplinary team at the Practice and excellent customer service to our patients. Allocated duties will vary on a daily basis depending on current and evolving workloads, targets, skills mix and staffing levels. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors in person, by phone or via electronic means. About us Lambert Medical Centre is a well-established practice offering patient services from its partnership owned premises in Thirsk town centre, a semi-rural market town. We offer services to those living in Thirsk and the surrounding villages. We have a stable patient list size of 8,600 and we dispense medication to approximately 40% of our list. There is an excellent range of housing and schools nearby with many local activities and the Yorkshire Moors and Dales on our doorstep. We are a stable 4 partner GMS practice with an enthusiasm to develop our practice further. We are rated good by CQC (with an outstanding in 'caring').
