Hybrid working - This is a hybrid role that offers flexible working between home and our Streatham Campus.
Our Digital Transformation team is looking for an innovative and strategic AI Enablement Lead to spearhead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI, across the institution. This role will play a pivotal role in delivering our AI strategy, championing AI literacy, and driving initiatives that position us at the forefront of innovation in higher education.
This is your opportunity to lead transformative AI projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure AI is embedded in our journey towards Strategy 2030.
What you'll be doing:
* Driving the implementation of the University's AI strategy and aligning it with broader programme delivery frameworks.
* Leading AI-specific programmes and providing expert advice on integrating AI into strategic initiatives.
* Collaborating with leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI to support institutional goals.
* Acting as an institutional AI expert, championing AI literacy and upskilling activities.
* Developing and delivering governance frameworks, training, and change management for AI initiatives.
* Proactively managing risks and ensuring quality assurance for AI-related deliverables.
* Monitoring and reporting on the benefits and impact of AI initiatives.
* Identifying emerging AI trends and integrating them into University programmes.
* Enabling the transition of AI initiatives into sustainable, business-as-usual practices.

We're really looking for...
* Proven experience in AI/technology strategy development and implementation within complex organisations.
* AI Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI, LLMs, and cutting-edge technologies, with an ability to learn new systems and understand ethical implications.
* Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at engaging institutional leaders, communicating complex technical concepts, and managing stakeholders through significant change.
* Data & Security Knowledge: Understanding of data strategy, cybersecurity, and risk practices.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in data analysis, innovative problem-solving, and creating actionable insights.
