Part-time Accounts AssistantType: Part-time, C20 hours per week, flexible Location: Sawston, Cambridge (office-based) Salary : £26-£30k pro rata We’re hiring a part-time Accounts Assistant in our Sawston office, and we can be really flexible with your hours to work around your other commitments, such as school drop off. At PAXT, we grow international markets on behalf of some of the world’s leading professional audio brands. We are looking for a friendly and highly organised Accounts Assistant to help with the finance function within our growing business. Key responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements Processing Supplier invoices, using "Dynamics 365 Business Central" (which we can train you to use) Allocating customers’ money and Monitoring customers accounts Assisting with the preparation of monthly VAT returns Reconciling bank accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy Support with Monthly payroll Preparing supplier payment runs Assisting with processing and analysing company credit card statements Preparing and posting journals Supporting with monitoring cash flow Support month-end and year-end closing processes Experience, attributes, and skills Attention to detail: The ability to accurately process financial data is crucial Accuracy: Maintaining the integrity of financial records is essential Organisational skills: Keeping records organised and efficient Computer literacy: Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Analytical skills: The ability to identify and analyse financial data Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies About PAXT With over 30 years’ experience in developing, managing and supplying markets across Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, we are the trusted export partner for many of the world’s leading professional audio brands.
