We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and help us continue to provide outstanding care to our patients and clients.
As a member of our team, you would be joining a team of 7 vets, some of whom hold post graduate certificates in Surgery, Medicine and Ophthalmology. We have a varied and interesting caseload where RVN support and input is appreciated and valued. We consider the nurse team to be key to the continued success of the business, and therefore ensure the practice is well equipped for our nurse team to be able to provide the best for our clients and their pets. Our nurses are an integral part of each patient’s recovery and rehabilitation, and all nurses have strong input on best nursing care for each patient. Our nurses are encouraged and are fully supported regarding progression and development which is guided by our nursing career framework.
Our Nursing Career Framework supports an industry leading pay scale of bands and associated tiers to reflect appropriate remuneration for the skill set held while identifying future goals and opportunities.

We are recruiting for a Tier 1-Tier 2 RVN to join the night nurse team, where you will be working alongside the clinical team to support the effective management of overnight nursing care.
Your role and responsibilities
The role is hands on and duties will include but are not limited to:
-Assignment of cases to nurse and support throughout your shifts, with a proactive, holistic approach to inpatient care, under the guidance of the Veterinary Surgeon.
-Be actively involved in nurse-led patient handover from the night team to the day team, providing detailed clinical updates of any current inpatients.
-Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the hospital.
-Be active in the completion and application of continued professional development
