About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our client's team in Gosport, Portsmouth. As a key member of the maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the entire system.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of work areas for depot, system, and component maintenance.
* Diagnostic skills to pinpoint faults in complex systems.
* Understanding of technical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams.
Qualifications and Skills
* A certified Mechanical Technician with qualifications in a recognized Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of rotating and static equipment, including tanks, pumps, valves, and pipework.
* Ability to work safely and effectively in confined spaces.
