Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Purpose Of The Role:
The main emphasis of the role is to manage and grow an existing base of spending customers and to re-engage with lapsed customers using your knowledge of IT hardware and software. To do this, you will be required to deliver a high number of proactive, inquisitive, and structured calls into the base of customers to identify where and how you can grow business. You will also need to identify net new customers that fit the trading profile and have a defined plan on how to win these. You will be supported by the Senior Management team, Category Manager, and the vendors, and you will have a team of sales support people to help you deliver a world-class customer experience to your growing base of clients. You will need to develop influential relationships with key decision-makers within every customer and ensure we maximize delivery of the company’s product portfolio within that organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain an appropriate pipeline of opportunities to meet short and medium-term business plans.
* Establish the business as the primary supplier of Communications & IT solutions to the defined key account base.
* Effectively manage the relationship between the company and the defined key account base.
* React effectively and in a timely manner to customer queries and issues.
* Develop and re-engage with lapsed customers to understand what is required to win business back.
* Maintain high levels of appropriate product and service knowledge on current and future products.
* Monitor competitive and competitor activity to protect the business's competitive position.
* Regularly monitor revenue streams from orders to ensure consistency with forecasts.
* Maintain full, accurate, honest, and timely records.
