We are seeking skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the performance of our heavy goods vehicle fleet. As an integral part of our Enfield operation, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. What will you do & what will you need? As a part of your role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's HGVs. This includes ensuring that all work is completed on time and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines. Moreover, you will be responsible for carrying out all breakdowns and reactive works to high standards and within the given time frame. You should be able to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the HGVs, communicate technical information to your teammates, and escalate any issues to relevant managers. You should also possess a keen eye for detail and ensure that all work is accurately documented. Additionally, you’ll demonstrate good diagnostic and fault-finding skills ensuring first-time fix. Trailer servicing experience - Including brake system and suspension overhaul. Diagnostics on trailer ABS systems. Experienced Fabricator and Trailer Body works repair. Trailer Tail lift and shutter repair Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment. Hold an NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent and desirably hold your CPC. Training and funding can however be supported to achieve your HGV Class 1 license after a successful length of service. What’s in it for you?
