Our client, a well-regarded Accountancy firm, is seeking a Part-Time Finance Administrator to join their friendly professional team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for a multi-faceted role, covering client support and finance administration. The position is offered on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week across 3 days, based at their spacious and modern offices in South West London.
Reporting to the HR Director and Facilities Manager, you will be the first point of contact for clients, meeting and greeting visitors and answering incoming calls. You will also oversee the meeting room schedule, organise couriers/logistics, and manage the client database.
Responsible for delivering a first-class onboarding experience to all new clients, you will oversee the ongoing maintenance of client records. In addition, you will support the invoicing and billing process, assist with data entry and invoice processing, and liaise with third parties including HMRC, banks, and other agencies. The successful candidate will work across several invoicing and billing systems, as well as maintain the CRM. You may also be asked to troubleshoot basic IT issues, so you must be comfortable using a variety of software platforms.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous experience in an administrative role – preferably within an Accountancy or other Professional Services firm
2. First-class customer service skills
3. Solid organisational skills and the ability to use your own initiative
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
5. Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage) is desirable but not essential
6. The ability to work to deadlines with an agile approach
The salary for this part-time role will be £25,000-£27,000 pro rata plus benefits.
