Registered Manager £270 per day 2 month temporary role Welwyn My client is a charity that supports people with learning disabilities, people with Autism and those with mental health needs, at home and in the community. The service comprises of 8 people, mixture of Male and Female aged up to 50. High complex needs non verbal and the majority of the people we support are in wheelchairs. Key responsibilities People Overall accountability for people management and development across the team. Undertake supervisions and appraisals in line with organisational guidelines. Recruit highly motivated and capable team members. Effectively manage staff resources. Ensure effective management of staff induction and probation. Build effective relationships with team members to ensure the team work together to deliver a good service. Ensure all areas of Employee Relations (including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases) are managed in a timely manner, in line with current United Response guidelines and with support from the Human Resources team. Finance Apply agreed financial processes within services Oversee all budgetary requirements reporting any irregularities to the Locality Manager and Divisional Finance Manager. Ensure all monies, including people we support money is fully accounted for at all times. Where applicable manage additional service income and ensure service outcomes are met. Compliance Overall responsibility for quality and consistency across the service. CQC registered manager and hold the registration for the service. Responsible for QA checks and measures and KPI returns. Alert and report any safeguarding issues in accordance with local and statutory guidelines and protocols. Ensure all statutory and legal requirements are maintained and appropriate reporting procedures are implemented if required. Relationship Management Oversee and maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders Build and develop community links and relationships with external agencies/providers to support the people we support to build community links. Liaise with key internal departments to access information or gain advice. Practice Lead To demonstrate a commitment to the Safeguarding of Adults and to recognise and report any disclosure, suspicion or evidence of harm, risk of harm, abuse or neglect in line with United Responses Safeguarding Adults policy. Support the team to raise the standard of practice delivery. Ensure all support plans are current and reflect the changing needs of the people we support. Assist people we support in securing and keeping paid employment, ensuring the team understands the importance of employment support in peoples lives. Conduct assessments of new tenants and People we Support and support people to move on when appropriate. Other Contribute to new Service Development.
