An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The NHS Fife Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate serves a population of approximately 380,000 people and is provided by an integrated team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The team works across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacy technician registered with the GPhC with proven post qualification experience to join our pharmacy team. As Specialist Pharmacy Technician Dispensing Services, you will provide operational leadership and management of the pharmacy dispensaries at the Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital. You must be able to work independently and as part of the pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team. You will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. You must have experience of managing staff and leading a team and extensive post registration experience in the hospital setting. To meet the needs of the service, you will work variable shifts between 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday and participate in a weekend and public holiday rota.
