Job Description
* Job Title: Sample Reception Technician
* Job Type: Permanent
* Location: Ellesmere Port
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday
* Salary: £23,400

We are looking for a Laboratory Sample Technician to support our laboratory operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of samples and chemicals. This role is essential in maintaining smooth workflows and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, store, and distribute laboratory samples, chemicals, and consumables.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock management.
* Safely handle and dispose of chemicals in line with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in preparing and packaging samples for testing.
* Ensure laboratory areas remain organised and compliant with procedures.
Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in chemical handling or laboratory sample management is an advantage.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices related to laboratory environments.
