Job summary This role is for an 18 month fixed term contract/secondment however, in the event that permanent funding is secured for this post the successful applicant will be confirmed in post on a permanent basis. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic IT professional to join our End User Computing Team. We are increasing our resources to support the transition of over 9000 trust devices to Windows 11. The role will provide proactive management of all aspects the end user computing, including PC's, Laptops, Tablets, Mobile phones, Software management and patching., with a primary focus on the transition to Windows 11. Excellent communication skills and a customer focus are also key attributes that the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate due to the constant interaction and support required in supporting colleagues through this process. Main duties of the job The Trust is predominantly Microsoft based, so the successful candidate will need to have experience of operating and managing Microsoft based software.
