Job Title - Commercial Administrator
Salary - up to GBP28,000 depending on experience

Job Description:
Our client, a large reputable social housing contractor providing maintenance and repair services to thousands of properties across the East, is looking for a full-time Commercial Administrator to join their team.
Key Objectives of the Role:
1. Distribute works to Subcontractors working on behalf of the company.
2. Administration of Subcontractor works.
3. Reporting on budgets.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Collect and record information on works as diagnosed by the Tradesperson.
2. Ensure that all works are undertaken in accordance with the Flagship Services Scope of Service.
3. Issue works to Subcontractors ensuring financial regulations are not breached.
4. Record details of works carried out on our bespoke IT system.
5. Communicate with customers to manage expectations regarding works.
6. Review quotations and specifications from Subcontractors to ensure value for money before progressing works.
7. Manage customer feedback requests and deal with Customer Complaints.
8. Understand and use measures, facts, and data to enable continuous improvement.
9. Support your line management in any other relevant task as requested.
10. Compile and manage contract files, including performance management, H&S files, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH information, management reports, and performance measures.
11. Actively contribute to individual and team reflections and discussions.
12. Build confidence and trust in the company brands.
13. Take personal responsibility for own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace.
14. Seek value for money opportunities to get service right first time.
15. Understand and use measures to enable continuous improvement.
16. Understand and apply the Flagship Way by the team and individuals and strive for continuous improvement.
17. Ensure that IT Security and Data Protection Legislation is adhered to at all times.
18. Actively support E,D & I policy to ensure that all customers/residents and colleagues within the Group are treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
Experience Required:
1. Good record keeping.
2. Social Housing maintenance services.
3. An awareness of H&S requirements.
4. Delivering an excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
1. Five GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent.
Skills:
1. Interpersonal & communication skills.
2. Organisational skills.
3. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
4. Good written and verbal skills.
5. Computer literate.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8.00 - 17.00 hrs, with 2 x 15 mins breaks and a half-hour lunch).
This could be a temp-perm vacancy leading to a full-time position after a satisfactory 13 weeks probationary period through ARC.
