The Role
The Head of Professional Services will take ownership of the professional services function, driving revenue growth through the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director, this remote role offers autonomy and the opportunity to shape a key area of the business, making a significant impact on its success.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
•Own and lead the professional services function, driving revenue growth through a well-defined strategy.
•Lead the professional services team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue results. Achieve high-margin results at an efficient cost by optimising resource for efficient delivery.
•Develop, implement, and execute a professional services strategy that aligns with company goals.
•Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure the professional services function supports the overall success of the business.
•Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing professional services team, fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centricity.
•Collaborate with other departments to align professional services with product offerings and customer needs.
•Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the market.
•Adopt a direct and hands-on approach for the delivery of revenue, bookings and pipeline generation.
•Develop new initiatives, assessing new markets, and analysing net new business opportunities.
•Monitor performance metrics and report on the impact of professional services on overall company success.
•Play a key leadership role as part of the Senior Leadership team and build effective and collaborative relationships with key team members.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
•Experience leading and developing a successful professional services team with a track record of engaging and growing diverse talent to greater success.
•Be a Change Agent – the ability to successfully drive and embed change/transformation and diversity of thought.
•Demonstrated success at collaborating, building consensus, and driving multiple projects to completion within cross-functional areas
•Proven experience in a senior professional services role within a SaaS or technology environment.
•A strong track record of developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and accountability.
•Excellent project management skills, able to meet and exceed deadlines themselves and through their team
•Strategic thinking, with the ability to work autonomously and make data-driven decisions.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships at all levels.
•Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
•Expertise in management consulting or professional services offerings and go-to-market strategy.
