This role will focus on:
As Warehouse Manager, you will play a key part in BioPure’s Supply Chain. Our warehouse spans 3,160 square metres with the maximum capacity of over 2,000 pallet spaces. You will have full ownership of controlling the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods from the warehouse. As Warehouse Manager, you will control, manage, and report on inventory levels to support production, dispatch, stock holding policies, and cycle count adherence to plan. You will be a key stakeholder in the SIOP process providing inputs on inventory levels, system data correctness, inventory build requirements, and overstock reduction planning across the entire warehouse remit. You will have oversight of inventory when it moves into WIP and returns from WIP and offer support to Manufacturing to assist with their WIP inventory management. You will lead a team of people, processes, and systems to ensure goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched appropriately to ensure we are continuously working towards our company vision and mission.
Key Accountabilities Include:
* You will own inventory guardianship in its entirety, including system data and shelf life.
* Plan and organise all storage areas for products and materials to maximise space and accessibility.
* Ensure that all stocked items are labelled correctly and stored in the correct locations.
* You will be responsible for the planning, organisation, and oversight of planned maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
* Manage daily cycle counts to ensure stock reconciliation with AX and minimise stock error and shelf life issues. You will report inventory to system requirements and create reports to Planning and Purchasing detailing any deviances to plan.
* Provide overall leadership to a team of logistics operators through the Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator, ensuring daily task completion and promoting an environment of safety and collaboration.
* Ensure that all operators are cross-trained to the required standard and maintain the operators training records, ensuring they are complete and up to date.
* You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of all warehouse facilities including loading bays, racking, aisles, workstations, and desks.
* You will ensure all shipments out of the warehouse have the correct documentation to avoid delays.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Commercial experience working as a Warehouse Manager/Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
* Significant experience in managing and leading a team to achieve shared objectives.
* Barcoding and ERP integration experience.
* Significant experience in the handling and storage of manufactured products including knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
* In-depth understanding of custom documentation requirements and freight forwarders.
* Experience of creating SOPs.
* Cleanroom experience is advantageous although not essential.
