The employer is a waste recycling business servicing household customers and commercial clients in the Nenagh / North Tipp region. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant / Office Manager for a new Nenagh office.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee and support customer service / admin staff
* Ensure customer invoices are issued and payments are received and posted in a timely manner
* Process supplier invoices and ensure appropriate approvals are received for payment
* Analysis, reconciliation and posting of credit card payments and other charges
* Monitor payments and receipts and provide ongoing cash-flow information
* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
* Assist with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
* Preparation of VAT and RTD returns
* Assist with both internal and external audit queries
* Other accounts admin duties as they arise
Qualifications / Technical Knowledge / IT Skills
* Previous accounts experience is essential
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential
* A reliable, professional, and highly motivated individual
* Strong numerical and analytical ability
* Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
* Ability to organise own work to meet deadlines
* Experience with different accountancy software packages is highly desirable but not essential; Sage
