Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with project managers to understand project objectives and requirements.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, deliverables, tasks and timelines.
3. Create detailed project schedules using project management software and tools.
4. Identify critical path activities and dependencies to optimise project timelines.
5. Assess resource requirements and allocate personnel, equipment and materials for project tasks.
6. Ensure optimal resource utilisation and avoid overallocation.
7. Continue monitoring project progress and performance against the established schedule.
8. Identify potential delays or risks and implement corrective actions.
9. Generate regular progress reports and present them to project managers and Directors.
10. Provide updates on project status, milestones and variances from the original plan.
11. Assist in identifying potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project timelines.
12. Collaborate with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
13. Manage changes to project schedule resulting from scope changes or unforeseen events.
14. Assess the impact of changes on project timelines and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
15. Communicate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a scheduling role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
2. Mechanical/HGV knowledge is desirable.
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various departments.
5. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. This is a full-time position, 45 hours a week, 07:30-17:00, Monday to Friday.
