About the role As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing value-added financial reporting to the business. With the UK being the main entity, the role will also support UK management accounts while collaborating cross-functionally, driving accuracy and quality of financial reporting. This role will be pivotal in all financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting. Responsibilities Business partnering with key internal stakeholders, adding commercial insight and value to support decision-making and P&L management. Support the UK finance team with preparing the monthly management accounts. Oversee the monthly UK accruals and prepayment schedules. Support with UK annual audit enquiries. Carry out a monthly review of UK financials to ensure a high level of accuracy, providing commentary on key variances to forecast/budget. Support with preparing monthly board packs through commentary and financial analysis. Oversee the fixed asset register for the UK. Responsible for the UK and consolidated financial forecasts, which will be reviewed and updated regularly with a monthly submission for the board pack. Support with financial scenario planning. Produce ad hoc reporting for analysis as required. Adopt a continuous improvement approach to financial reporting, taking the lead on suggestions and implementing improvements. Skills Experience Part-qualified/newly accountant or studying towards CIMA or ACCA. Proven track record of success in previous finance roles. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to reporting accuracy. Previous experience using reporting suites is advantageous. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Good analytical and strong problem-solving aptitude. Ability to prioritise multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment and deliver quality service. A team player, happy to roll sleeves up to support. Advanced Excel knowledge.
