Senior Mental Health Practitioner
Band: 6
SPECIFICATION:
1. To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to undertake assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care programs for children and families, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies as appropriate.
2. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
3. To offer therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practice and in line with the NICE guidelines.
4. To ensure the clients’ rights of confidentiality are maintained at all times.
5. To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice/ conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
6. 6 months of Healthcare experience as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner
7. Right to work in the UK
8. References covering the last 3 years of clinical employment
9. NMC Registration
10. Overseas Police Check, if any
11. Indemnity Insurance
12. Up-to-date CV
