Salary: £1,877.11 pro rata’d (£23,151 per annum/ £12 per hour)

Saturday: 10:00 – 13:00 (3hrs)

Do you enjoy helping others? We are looking for an enthusiastic people-focused person to join our customer service team at Torrington Library.
You will play a key role in helping customers at every stage of their lives to get the most out of our services. It’s hands on and full of variety, with no two shifts ever being the same! In a typical shift, you could find yourself:
- Delivering a friendly, personable service to customers whilst helping them with their diverse reading and information queries.
- Using your excellent IT skills to help customers access our digital library services and connect to the wider world through our customer PCs or their own devices.
- Delivering and planning events and activities that inspire a love of reading, learning, and creativity with customers of all ages.
There will be a requirement to open and close the library on occasions.
The successful candidate will deliver a friendly, proactive, and responsive frontline service, ensuring the best possible customer experience for all. We are looking for someone with good digital skills and a love of reading who will enjoy working with people of all ages.
