Job Posting Title: Senior Recruiter Req ID: 10109606 Job Description: About the Role & Team This role requires you to work from the Hammersmith office 4 days per week and occasionally visit our office in Manchester You will be responsible for the delivery of The Walt Disney Company recruitment objectives, through provision of a quality driven, cost effective and timely recruitment service to the businesses as well as supporting other Lines of Business / countries, where required. You will also act as a business partner with Line Managers to manage the end to end recruitment service to ensure best in class practices through attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates, to ensure that TWDC is viewed as an ‘Employer of Choice’. You will become a subject matter expert for their LOBs / Countries that they support. This role will also input to EMEA wide COE projects as required. What You Will Do Decide on the most appropriate methodology including direct sourcing, head hunting, advertising, agencies and exploring internal solutions Proactively partner and lead relationship with Hiring Managers to discuss and make recommendations on resourcing issues (temporary, permanent, fixed term) as well as looking at the most effective manner/way to source candidates (True Subject Matter Experts). Is able to challenge the Hiring Manager on wider elements impacting the business (e.g. internal mobility, location strategy, key strategic goals and directions) and professionally and effectively influences the outcome. Acting as a trusted recruitment partner, taking ownership for the successful conclusion of recruitment assignments, ensuring delivery of a service that is customer focused, value-add and cost effective Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process creating the hiring strategy for the hiring manager to fully understand the requirements of each vacancy to ensure the shortlisted CVs are of the quality desired. Applies strategic thinking to the sourcing strategy and can understand not only the current requirements of the role but also longer-term potential. Understand changes in business strategy that could influence or alter candidate pipelines Deliver quality candidates through a range of direct sources to ensure effective delivery of The Walt Disney Company’s recruitment objectives, with a strong focus on direct sourcing. Create talent pipelines for future requirements where appropriate Draft creative and engaging adverts that will attract quality candidates to our vacancies. Undertake initial pre-screening through both CV review and telephone screening & with line managers as required, exercising judgement on candidate suitability and influencing and motivating candidates to opportunities. Keep accurate candidate details and ensure Workday and Beamery is maintained at all times. Participates in candidate evaluation and selection process. Ensuring the global recruitment system (Workday) and data processes are fully utilised and all records are kept up to date and accurate (and in line with GDPR requirements). Work with the Talent Acquisition Team to promote The Walt Disney Company’s employer brand using social media and other tools to generate interest in the company as a great place to work. Maintains smooth flow of admin throughout the recruitment process e.g. communication to hiring manager, candidate, C&B, etc. Responsible for quality and data integrity of all related recruitment information, including all offers of employment via Global HR Operations. Project work in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition/TA Manager Strategic Thinking Proven ability to understand external tech market dynamics that influence hiring within their segment or geography and subsequently make recommendations / build strategies that will drive consistency in speed, quality and diversity amongst target groups. Internal Management Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders across agreed business areas (LOB / Country) including senior level leaders (up to Director) and HR Business Partners External Talent Management Proactively engages with external talent and looks for opportunities to build a pipeline of talent.
