Description Organizational Structure: The Outsourcing Conduct Manager UKISA is part of the Consumer Lines team under the leadership of the President of Consumer Lines EMEA. This role aligns with the Head of Conduct, Oversight, and Customer Experience. Role Overview: The role of the Outsourcing Conduct Manager for the UKISA region (United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa) is pivotal in ensuring that conduct risk and product governance meet regulatory requirements and facilitate positive customer outcomes. This position demands a thought leader with extensive expertise in conduct risk, regulatory compliance, and product governance within the insurance or financial services sectors. A thorough understanding of the UK and Ireland's regulatory environments, with additional knowledge about South Africa, is highly desirable. Core Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Drive adherence to changes in FCA, PRA, CBI, and FSCA regulatory requirements. Engage with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to embed regulatory changes into operational processes seamlessly. Conduct Risk Management: Oversee conduct risk management, ensuring all products, processes, and controls support regulatory compliance and good customer outcomes. Audits & Reporting: Develop and manage external audit programs for outsourced providers. Coordinate internal audits and conduct comprehensive due diligence. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain robust communication channels with stakeholders through regular and ad-hoc reporting. Accurate logging of third-party interactions and maintenance of conduct-related MI tools is essential. Project Management: Lead and manage ad-hoc projects related to conduct, product, or outsourcing requiring remediation specific to the UKISA region. This role may require travel within the assigned region to support various projects. Flexible working options, including remote work, are available. Qualifications Candidate Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, or business administration. Professional qualifications in compliance or risk management are advantageous. Experience: Proven track record in conduct risk management and regulatory roles, particularly within the UK and Ireland. Experience with South Africa's frameworks is beneficial but not required. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of conduct risk principles, UK Appointed Representatives, and regulatory requirements.
