An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to work within Caithness Community Mental Health Team. As a Community Mental Health Nurse in Caithness, you will work within an Integrated Health and Social Care Team and be required to carry out assessments, care planning, care implementation and reviews and act as a care co-ordinator where appropriate for clients in the Caithness area, and be part of the Place of Safety Team. You will need to demonstrate a broad range of clinical therapeutic work as well as being able to work both independently and within the multi-disciplinary team setting. The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role. A driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required. This is a part-time post of 29.6 hours, to be worked in accordance with service requirements. There will also a requirement to be part of the Place of Safety on-call rota. This is a fixed term contract until 22nd December 2025, covering a period of maternity leave.
