The Vacancy
The Barnet Group is currently seeking to recruit an Estate Services Manager with knowledge of Estate Services within a housing setting. The role will report into the Senior Estate Services Manager and will work closely with both internal and external partners. The role is central to the continued delivery of excellent standards on our estates and to our tenants and leaseholders.
This post will require the successful candidate to provide a front-line service both in the office and on estates 5 days a week.
You will be responsible for:
• High standards of delivery within an Estate Service setting
• Responsible for all services provided by Estate Services within a designated area
• Line management of a team of caretaking operatives
What you'll need to succeed?
We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:
• An enthusiastic and committed individual who is highly motivated, able to work as part of a team and use their own initiative.
• Ideally you will have good knowledge and understanding of how Estate Services are delivered within a housing setting and must work well under pressure and have excellent communication and IT skills.
• You must also have excellent negotiating skills in order to build effective relationships with our customers, staff and partners.
• You must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle as this role requires visits to various sites within the borough on a daily basis to manage your team and standards being provided.
