We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Finance team as an Investor Relations Analyst. In this key role, you will be responsible for the delivery of the business’s Investor Relations Strategy which ensures that Severn Trent Plc is seen as a credible investment proposition for equity investors. You will work internally with our Finance Management Team and exposure to the Senior Executive Committee, so that you understand Severn Trent activities and ensure that these are communicated to our external stakeholders in an engaging way.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure all external publications contain true and accurate information which has gone through an appropriate three-line assurance process.
* Lead our approach to investor targeting, opening up new sources of capital.
* Compile reports for Severn Trent’s Board giving monthly updates on IR activities and market movements with supporting explanations and narratives.
* Assist in execution of communications strategy for investor community of c. 350 £1bn+ investment funds, including leading on wider communication initiatives, such as regular investor newsletters or subject-specific presentation decks.
* Stay connected to our external sell side community in order to maintain accurate ‘consensus’ of their financial estimates and ensure Severn Trent’s Board and Executive Committee understand their current ratings on Severn Trent and our peers.
* Explore the complex models which underpin each sell-side analyst’s valuation to create personalized engagement strategies to help each aspect of Severn Trent’s value become more fully realised.
* Manage and answer wide range of technical queries from broker, analyst and investor communities which come in through team inbox.
* Optimise our corporate website content to create the best possible window for investors into Severn Trent activity.
We are looking for someone who has a track record of digesting new information, interpreting data, and drawing out trends. Experience of delivering high-profile work in fast-paced environments and communicating messages using a variety of formats targeted towards different audiences is required.
