The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home and Community Support Team as a Training Coordinator. Tameside’s Reablement Service can help to achieve great outcomes for people. The Service does this by working with any adult who normally lives in Tameside, who is able to actively participate in a process to learn or regain skills and doesn’t require clinical intervention. For some people, reablement can be an effective alternative to long-term care.
About You
The Training Coordinators for the Council's Care Quality C registered Reablement Service will play a critical role in ensuring that all Support Workers delivering reablement support are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide high-quality, person-centred reablement support to people in the community. This position will involve sourcing, co-ordinating and delivering effective training programs, assessing the outcomes of training, and continuously enhancing the team’s capabilities. By doing so, the Training Officer will help ensure that people in Tameside receive safe, effective, and compassionate support to regain their independence
