The role is accountable for supporting the delivery of iQ Student Accommodation's revenue targets, through the management, maintenance and optimisation of iQ's digital platforms, including planning and delivery of web and app improvement projects, integrations and national and international digital sales platforms. The role will be accountable also for continualy testing, reporting, analysing and optimising digital platform performance. Key Role Responsibilities: Continually identify and deliver data-backed optimisations to improve online customer journeys and experience, to increase conversions both in the UK and international markets, in close collaboration with the Web & Digital Analyst, IT team, and web agency. Own and optimise the conversion funnel, continually testing strategies to improve commercial outcomes, analysing and reporting on performance. Website and mobile development backlog prioritisation and management of schedule of works, testing and release schedule, working in partnership with our web agency and IT team. UAT to support releases, in close collaboration with our web agency and IT team. Troubleshooting digital platforms as necessary and actioning internal web tickets in collaboration with our web agency and IT team. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, own the planning for and delivery of product innovations that enhance the customer journey and efficient ways of working, ensuring that the planning takes place with the IT team to secure an agreed programme of product development. Develop and maximise all new and existing online revenue generation opportunities through digital platform enhancements, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders. This would include but is not restricted to business listings on Google, Bing and Apple, listings with our partners like Accommodation for Students and My Student Halls, iQ's WeChat MiniPrograms. Work closely with the digital marketing manager to support delivery of the strategy for all paid search, paid social, SEO, email and SMS marketing, in domestic and international markets, ensuring that our platforms are optimized to deliver on commercial goals. Own the delivery of campaigns and activations across digital platforms through the leasing cycle, at key moments including but not limited to launch to market, rebooker, summer, clearing, best welcome, to ensure that our products reflect campaign objectives and messaging to drive desired commercial outcomes. Identify, scope out and deliver product integration enhancements to improve user experience and the conversion funnel Own iQ's CMS for the website and app, being accountable for all content accuracy and relevancy, in close collaboration with the Content team and Property Marketing Manager. Gather robust marketing intelligence through the evaluation of analytics, market intel and competitor data, to inform product development and design. Manage external suppliers to ensure the delivery of a quality and cost-effective service. Keep up to date with digital product and e-commerce best practice, putting it to action across all channels, adopting a test-learn-rollout approach. Provide reporting and actionable insight on all digital platform performance, demonstrating ROI, in collaboration with the Web & Digital Analyst. This includes but is not limited to the English and Mandarin website, business listings, listings with partner sites, iQ's WeChat MiniPrograms. Provide daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports, analysis and recommendations as required. Comply with data handling policies. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role manages one digital team member, and the relationships with external agencies and partners. Record and monitor marketing spend, in line with agreed processes. Work with Head of Marketing for budget allocation. Support the annual budgeting, mid-year rephasing, quarterly and monthly budget allocation processes Skills and Experience: Solid understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing principles, theory and best practice. Hands-on experience of managing web development projects to optimise customer journeys and experience, Solid understanding of and experience in managing multiple digital platforms and integrations with backend systems. Web literacy and proficiency in data extraction and the use of databases and reporting tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI. Demonstrable hands-on experience of web tools and platforms. Good proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages with advanced Excel skills. Proficient in managing multiple priorities, working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational and project management skills.
