Payroll & T&A Transformation Business Analyst Rate: Inside IR35 via Umbrella company - £513.73 Location: London / Sheffield – Hybrid – 2 days in the office Duration: 12 months Role Summary: Our client are currently recruiting for a Payroll & T&A Transformation Business Analyst who shall work closely with the Project Manager in coordination and successfully delivery of Payroll & Time & Attendance project activities. Key Responsible • Work with the HR stakeholders and other teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, process and data flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures throughout automation opportunities implementation. • Analyse processes, identify automation opportunities / streamline opportunities through ‘start, stop, continue’ analysis and define ‘to be’ processes. • Create and capture process inventories and solution design documentation (SDD) • Manage training creation and delivery for the new processes and systems for HR Ops and other HR users to work in partnership with the project SMEs. • Act as Payroll and T&A functional expert. • Contributes to the change management and communication activities of new/changed functionality to ensure accuracy of communication and adequate user education is delivered. • Contributes creation of adequate action plans to implement any necessary workarounds are drafted by the relevant GSO delegate and the correct governance model is followed. • Risk identification, risk reporting and devising interventions to mitigating risks. • Lead User Acceptance Testing, including working with SMEs to create/manage scenarios and reporting on testing progress Knowledge and Experience: • Knowledge of the end-to-end Payroll and Time & Attendance process and associated regulatory requirements. • Knowledge of SAP products (e.g., SuccessFactors) and the technical landscape • Deep understanding of change disciplines (e.g., Agile), transformation management and risk management • Sound knowledge of LEAN and experience in leading change and re-engineering processes on a global scale. • Proven experience in testing • Proven experience of working on Payroll and / or Time & Attendance projects • Proven experience in operating in a Business Analyst role across a multi-discipline programme • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders • Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments • Proven experience of managing financial and operational controls within Project boundaries • Vendor management experience. • Strong relationship management and influencing skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels • Business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, solution definition and process documentation. • Risk and Issue Management. • Ability to work positively as part of a team. • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills. • Good organizational skills. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to solve problems creatively. • Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands. • Ability to make considered decisions that protect and enhance values, reputation and commercial interests.
