Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum.
Develop structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity.
Assess student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
Keep up to date with technological advancements and integrate innovative methods into your teaching practice.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing updates on student progress and achievements.
Contribute to wider school activities, collaborating with colleagues to support both student development and school initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, particularly at KS3 and KS4.
A solid understanding of the national curriculum, with the ability to design engaging and challenging lessons.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A commitment to continuous professional development and teaching excellence.
A valid Enhanced DBS check and up-to-date professional references.
